Learning & Development Specialist, Commercial Insurance, New Initiatives
Job Summary:
Lead and support regional and national Learning & Development projects. Work with teams to identify areas for process optimization and execute on projects to improve efficiencies. Facilitate in-house training for new and existing team members through various methods, including one-on-one instruction, group sessions, and webinars.

Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and manage Learning & Development projects
- Research new processes, systems and tools and assist with implementation and training plans
- Provide ongoing support to ensure staff proficiency with new processes and technologies
- Conduct post-implementation reviews and gather feedback for improve
- Collaborate with operational teams and stakeholders to align solutions with business needs
- Act as a subject matter expert for business processes and systems
- Design and deliver training for the Commercial Insurance team including new staff onboarding and role changes
- Create content for the company intranet related to L&D initiatives and commercial workflows, procedures, and best practices
- Design, implement, and deliver training programs for new Acera partner integrations, ensuring smooth onboarding and knowledge transfer
- Assist with developing workflows and process improvements between the Acera Program Underwriting Group and the Commercial Insurance team
Qualifications:
- RIBO License.
- Minimum two years commercial insurance sales, service, or underwriting experience
- Ability to maximize efficiency and leverage technology tools
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and facilitation skills.
- Experience in project management, instructional design, and stakeholder engagement
- Ability to develop and deliver training programs
- Familiarity with commercial insurance tools and software
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, EPIC, insurance carrier products/portals (a plus)
- Detail-oriented, organized, proactive, and self-motivated.
- Ability to travel and hold a valid driver’s license.
- Strong problem-solving and business improvement skills.
