Client Service Specialist

 

Job Details

Status: Full-time, permanent

Location: Burlington office – Hybrid available

 

Job Summary

We have an immediate opening for an enthusiastic, team-oriented Client Service Specialist working in our Burlington office. You are a key part of the Client Services Team, working with sales and service roles to achieve common goals and provide exceptional service to our clients.

 

Primary duties include, but not limited to, the following:

  • Provide support and liaise with an assigned group of clients of various sizes and industries and be accountable for ensuring that the service and support they receive aligns with the standards set by Green Benefits Group.
  • Responsible for client deliverables and working with internal teams to affect their timely production. Deliverables to include preparation of all client presentations and reporting.
  • Assist in the preparation of marketing and acquisition proposals and presentations.
  • Support clients with new benefits plan implementations.
  • Coordinate client plan amendments with insurers as required.
  • Review and analyze existing client group benefit plans and contracts.
  • Work with internal teams to ensure Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems are maintained and updated as required.
  • Communicate regularly with the appropriate Benefits Consultant (BC) to ensure coordination of deliverables within required timelines.
  • Maintain knowledge of carrier products, industry trends and initiatives and up to date on Green Benefits Group preferred providers and products.
  • Quickly and efficiently address client inquiries and concerns.
  • Represent Green Benefits Group in a professional manner at client and industry conferences and events.
  • Diligently work to continuously build upon relationships with clients, carriers, and internal cross-functional teams.
  • Participate in other duties as required or assigned.

 

Competencies & Qualifications:

  • Post-secondary education and/or related courses in group benefits (i.e. CEBS)
  • Completed or willing to complete the Life License Qualification Program (LLQP) within 3 months’ time
  • Bilingual (English/French) an asset
  • Sound benefits industry knowledge and experience, preferably in a similar environment
  • Highly adaptable, driven to be your best, and proven initiative
  • Proven experience providing excellent, high quality customer service
  • Strong multi-tasking, problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
  • A good understanding of personal computers and software, particularly MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher and Outlook
