GROUP RETIREMENT CLIENT SERVICE SPECIALIST

Pay Range: Acera’s total compensation offerings are based on pay for performance that recognizes exceptional individual, and company performance. The typical hiring range for this position is from $65,000 - $80,000 CAD annually; the pay offering is based on location and will vary depending on related experience, proven knowledge, skills, and internal equity.
With the leadership and guidance of the Director, Group Retirement Services, the Group Retirement Client Service Specialist will be responsible for the following tasks:
Client Service
- Dedicated contact for the client (employer or association)
- Handle inquiries
- Build and maintain working relationships
- Support with plan administration tasks and systems
- Liaison between client and plan provider
- Coordinate new plan implementations and plan amendments
- Arrange member education sessions with the provider and/or Acera education team
- Complete annual review reports and meet with the client and Acera Benefits Consultant to discuss
- Ensure CAPSA governance requirements are met
- Assist plan administrators with pension annual information returns
- Maintain plan records and activities, using electronic filing systems and Salesforce
- Work in collaboration with internal Acera partners, including consultants, group benefits specialists, and group retirement education specialists
- Participate with peer group on training, special projects and process improvements
Requirements
- Recommended active LLQP Insurance License in good standing
- Must have the ability to travel to client locations for meetings
