BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT & CLIENT RELATIONS SPECIALIST 

 

Acera Insurance is looking for an ambitious and engaging relationship builder to join our team. The successful candidate will play a key role in hunting for new commercial insurance business as well as high value clients.   

   

LOCATION AND STATUS  

  • Calgary, AB  
  • Full-time, permanent  

   

JOB DESCRIPTION  

  • Cultivate and build strong relationships amongst key stockholders of companies and high value clients  
  • Actively hunt for new business through researching, cold calling, and prospecting  
  • Periodically attend events/meetings such as golf events, hole sponsorship, etc., and represent Acera Insurance  
  • Consistently meet quarterly targets and gross/net sales   
  • Be a leader and solution provider to the client  
  • Work to diversify and increase commercial insurance and high value clients  
  • Build and maintain a pipeline   
  • Available to travel as needed  
  • Event planning – plan and oversee events i.e., guest speakers, ‘fun events’, etc 
  • Track and deliver reports on CRM   

   

QUALIFICATIONS  

  • 2 to 3 years of related experience in a sales role  
  • Insurance knowledge or strong business background is considered an asset  
  • Event planning experience is considered an asset

  • Must have own reliable/highway vehicle and a valid clean driver’s license
