NEW BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT, GROUP HOME & AUTO INSURANCE
Acera Insurance is looking for an ambitious, engaging relationship builder to join our team. The successful candidate will play a key role in hunting for new business within our Group Home and Auto Program.
LOCATION AND STATUS
- Edmonton, AB
- Full-time, permanent
JOB DESCRIPTION
- Cultivate and build strong relationships amongst key stakeholders of companies and high value clients
- Actively hunt for new business through researching, cold calling and prospecting
- Periodically attend events/meetings and represent Acera Insurance
- Consistently meet quarterly targets, gross/net sales and growth of advisor
- Be a leader and solution provider to the client
- Work to diversify and increase personal insurance
- Build and maintain a pipeline
- Occasional out of office travel, including weekends and evenings
- Event planning – plan and oversee events i.e. guest speakers, ‘fun events’
- Track and deliver reports on CRM
QUALIFICATIONS
- 2 to 3 years of experience in a sales role
- Group Home and Auto Insurance experience is required

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Self-starter
- Proven record of strong client relationship ability
- Excellent organizational skills for tracking and reporting
- Ability to prospect and build relationships
- Must have own reliable/highway vehicle and a valid clean driver’s license
