ASSOCIATE, AGRICULTURE & EQUINE INSURANCE

 

JOB DETAILS

Status: Full-Time, Permanent

Location: Kelowna, Hardy

Compensation: Acera’s total compensation offerings are based on pay for performance that recognizes exceptional individual and team performance.  The typical hiring range for this position is from $50,000 – $60,000 CAD annually; the pay offering is based on location and will vary depending on related insurance experience, knowledge, skills, and internal equity. 

 

JOB SUMMARY

This role is responsible for providing support to the Agriculture Client Advisor by processing documents, invoicing premium, preparing cover letters, producing certificates of insurance, schedules, claims reporting, collecting receivables and maintaining file documentation.

 

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assisting with Farm renewals, endorsements, cancellations
  • Handles issuance and sending of certificates, pre-renewal, renewal, new business submissions  and proposals as requested
  • Helps with the maintenance of activity lists as requested (Endos, polos, account discrepancies, SOV’s, etc)
  • Collecting payments from clients in an efficient and timely manner
  • Providing an outstanding client service experience
  • Contributes in regular meetings with team to ensure you are up to date on all pending client issues, changing needs, implementing service plans, and other issues

  • Self-guided learner & solves problems with real solutions
  • Ability to maximize efficiencies by leveraging technology, tools resources and information
  • Level 1 Broker License
  • Working knowledge of insurance document management software (EPIC)
  • Skilled user of Microsoft office - Outlook, Word and Excel
  • Excellent time management and multi-tasking skills
  • Strong attention to detail is a must.
  • Positive influence and influential to team members especially at times of change
