ASSOCIATE, AGRICULTURE & EQUINE INSURANCE

 

JOB DETAILS

Status: Full-Time, Permanent

Location: Kelowna, Hardy

Compensation: Acera’s total compensation offerings are based on pay for performance that recognizes exceptional individual and team performance.  The typical hiring range for this position is from $45,000 – $55,000 CAD annually; the pay offering is based on location and will vary depending on related insurance experience, knowledge, skills, and internal equity. 

 

JOB SUMMARY

We are currently recruiting for a full time Associate, Agriculture & Equine to work in our Kelowna Hardy location. The role requires someone with excellent organizational and customer service skills with a good working knowledge of EPIC.  The associate role is responsible for providing support to Client Advisors by processing documents, checking current policies, preparing renewal letters, renewal terms, and maintaining accounts receivable. This role is ideal for someone interested in developing into the position of Client Advisor, Agriculture & Equine Insurance. 

 

COMPETENCIES & QUALIFICATIONS

  • Level 1 General Insurance License or a commitment to obtaining a Level 1 Insurance License within 6 months of the start date
  • Experience with EPIC, InsureView and Microsoft Office including Outlook, Excel and Word
  • Creates an environment where everyone wants to do their best
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced team with high client service goals
  • Ability to maximize efficiencies by leveraging technology, tools resources and information
  • Excellent communication and writing skills
  • Strong attention to detail is a must
  • High sense of urgency and strong organization/multi-tasking skills
  • Understanding of various insurance providers and Equine Anatomy and products
  • Willingness to contribute regularly during team meetings
  • Advocates for changes and additions to service plans that increase value for clients
