Job Status
Status: Full-Time
Location: Kelowna – Hardy location
Pay Range: Acera’s total compensation offerings are based on pay for performance that recognizes exceptional individual and company performance. The typical hiring range for this position is from $45,000 - $55,000 CAD annually; the pay offering is based on location and will vary depending on related education, insurance experience, proven knowledge, skills, and internal equity.
Job Purpose:
This role is responsible for providing support to the Commercial Insurance teams by processing documents, invoicing premiums, preparing cover letters, producing certificates of insurance and schedules
Primary duties include, but not limited to, the following:
- Handles issuance and sending of certificates, pre-renewal, renewal, new business submissions and proposals as requested
- Helps with the maintenance of activity lists as requested (Endos, polos, account discrepancies, SOV’s, etc)
- Supports processes and procedures and best practices
Competencies & Qualifications:
- Supports a climate in which teams want to do their best
- Adaptable to working effectively as a team or independently with the ability to adjust to tight and changing priorities and deadlines.
- Ability to maximize efficiencies by leveraging technology, tools resources and information
- Self-guided learner & solves problems with real solutions
- Level 1 license preferred and working towards Level 2 BC Broker License
- Working knowledge of insurance document management software (EPIC) & Policy works
- Skilled user of Microsoft office - Outlook, Word, Excel and Powerpoint
