ASSOCIATE, SIGNATURE INSURANCE

 

The Associate, Signature Insurance is dedicated to supporting the Signature Insurance team. Your strong organizational skills along with a high attention to detail are the keys to success in this role. This role is responsible for managing and controlling administrative workflow, investigating accounting anomalies including statement differences and account reconciliations, binders, spreadsheet and letter creation, verifying and reviewing policy information and documentation for errors, advising brokers of errors and requesting re-writes from underwriters, monitoring delays in documents to clients (internal or external), taking client calls for pink cards and payments, processing changes on broker portals, reviewing renewals and identifying missing coverages.

 

 

LOCATION AND STATUS

Location: Kelowna, BC

Status: Full-time, permanent

Pay Range: Acera’s total compensation offerings are based on pay for performance that recognizes exceptional individual and company performance.  The typical hiring range for this position is from $45,000.00 - $53,000.00 CAD annually; the pay offering is based on location and will vary depending on related education, insurance and sales experience, proven knowledge, skills, and internal equity.

 

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 2+ years of related and progressive experience in the insurance industry with a strong working knowledge of personal insurance products
  • Experience servicing and reviewing Elite markets (Chubb Insurance, Aviva Ovation and Intact Prestige) would be considered an asset
  • BC Level 1 General Insurance License with the desire to obtain Level 2
  • Post-secondary degree/diploma/certificate in Business, Sales/Marketing, Risk Management or related discipline is an asset
  • CIP designation is an asset
