CLIENT EXECUTIVE, COMMERCIAL INSURANCE, REAL ESTATE
As a Client Executive specializing in the real estate sector, you have a strong foundation in commercial insurance, keen attention to detail, and a results-driven sales approach. Reporting to the Regional President, you are responsible for growing a book of business; selling and servicing commercial insurance policies tailored to real estate clients. Your role involves generating leads, evaluating client needs, and advising on optimal coverage solutions, while developing and maintaining strong relationships with insurers and clients to ensure long-term success.
LOCATION AND STATUS
- Full-time, permanent
- Toronto, ON or another Greater Toronto Area office
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop tailored insurance solutions for clients based on a detailed understanding of their risk profiles and business objectives.
- Prospect new clients in various forms including cold calling, networking events, association events, social media and other forms of sales activity
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients, providing expert guidance on insurance solutions, managing ongoing relationships, and adapting coverage as client needs evolve.
- Oversee the claims process, acting as a liaison between clients and insurers and providing clients with proactive support throughout the process.
- Responsible for collection and management of all accounts receivable related to clients
- Lead the sales process and support the negotiation for insurance contracts, with a focus on securing competitive terms, pricing, and coverage.
- Represent and promote Acera to potential clients at trade shows and networking events
- Travel is required to meet with clients or to attend association, networking, or insurer events
- Presenting terms and marketing material to clients as required
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
- 7+ years of related and progressive experience in the insurance industry with a strong working knowledge of commercial insurance products.
- Relevant experience working with real estate related insurance products is preferred.
- RIBO License is required
- CIP or CAIB designation, or working towards is considered an asset
