CLIENT ADVISOR, COMMERCIAL INSURANCE, SMALL BUSINESS
Acera is looking for an ambitious, engaging, and experienced Client Advisor to join our IBU team. As our Client Advisor, you will have the overall responsibility for maintaining and growing a book of small business of accounts ranging up to $10,000 in premium.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITES:
- Manage and service a book of commercial clients mainly focused on non-profits; professionals and technology risks
- Grow existing book of business by taking trade off from CE's as required and through organic growth;
- Manage the Pre-renewal and renewal process, including any remarketing efforts
- Follow workflows and ensure correspondence in accounts is kept clear and up to date
- Participate in the claims process;
- Responsible for the books accounts receivables ;
- Participate in up-sell and cross-sell initiatives to grow business;
- Assist the new business team as required;
- Works effectively and efficiently in our Broker Management System;
- Maintain a high level of customer service standards using our core values as the foundation of your service – Commit to Excellence, Take Ownership, Put People First, Make Work Fun
- All other duties as directed by management.
LOCATION AND STATUS:
- Victoria, BC
- Permanent, full-time employment (35 hrs/week)
- Hours: Monday-Friday 9am – 5pm, In-Office
- Acera’s total compensation offerings are based on pay for performance that recognizes exceptional individual and company performance. The typical hiring range for this position is from $55,000- $80,000 CAD annually; the pay offering is based on location and will vary depending on related education, client service experience, proven knowledge, skills, and internal equity.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum Level 2 license;
- Minimum 2 years of Commercial Insurance experience;
- CAIB and/or CIP designation or on an education plan;
- Strong Initiative;
- Excellent communication skills
